Hello, Brews & Roos friends!

We thought we would share a few facts about the event to help things run as smoothly as possible for everyone.

 

EVENT INFO / PARKING

- The event will run from noon until 5pm.

- If you check in after 2:15pm you will not have access to the kangaroo yard

- Our kangaroo walkabout is open for all guests from 12pm-2:30pm. 

- Our sloth room is open for VIPs from 12pm-2pm

- Please be sure to sign your waiver ahead of time (found in your confirmation email).

- Our parking lot is only available to guests who preordered On-site parking. If you have not preordered parking, there is free parking at 36258 Zion Church Rd, Selbyville, DE 19975 and we will have a shuttle running all day.

- Shuttle runs from 11:45am-5:30pm and 6pm-9:30pm, roughly every 15 minutes.

- Parking is limited, we encourage carpooling/rideshares if possible.

- Coastal Wilds event staff (wearing orange Brews & Roos shirts) will be around and available to answer any questions you may have throughout the event.

- You may not bring in your own beverages.

- We have a designated smoking area. Please do not smoke in any other areas of the park. 

 

THE FLOW

- When you arrive, you will first stop at our Check In Station. Here you will have IDs checked, be marked as checked in on our system, and will have your hand marked depending on the type of ticket you have purchased (DD, GA, or VIP)

- A VALID ID IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND. This event is for ages 21+ ONLY. All ages will have IDs checked.

- After Check-in, please walk straight through the park and make a right at the kangaroos to form a line for entrance into the Kangaroo Walkabout.

- Guests will have access to the Kangaroo Walkabout for approximately 15 minutes.

- General Admission & DD tickets should exit the Kangaroo Walkabout, go through the Gift Shop and pick up your wristband on the Front Porch.

- VIPs will exit the Kangaroo Walkabout then enter the Sloth Encounter room which they will have access to for up to 10 minutes.

- Once you have finished these animal encounters, you will see our wristband and tasting glass table immediately outside the gift shop. 

- You will receive your wristband and sample taster cup or VIP Stainless Pint on the Front Porch. (Glass Pint Glasses, T-shirts and Coolers will be given when leaving the park - see details below)

- Once you have your wristbands and tasting glasses, you are NOT able to reenter the animal areas, but you will be able to start sampling some of the great beer! Feel free to enjoy live music and as many samples as you would like! Please be respectful of the animals and our crew during this time.

- When you are ready to leave, please see the Coastal Wilds Staff near the ticket booth/parking lot.

- Wristbands will be cut off as you leave the park. There is NO RE-ENTRY.

- You will receive your Glass Pint Glasses, VIP T-shirts and VIP Coolers.

- Please be safe and responsible! If you need assistance calling a ride home, our crew can help you book a ride.

- VIPs are able to stay in a designated section of the zoo while we transition from Brews and Roos to our After Party concert, but GA must leave until the After Party. 

- Any VIPs staying for the After Party may pick-up merch as the exit the park after the show.

- The gate opens at 6:30 for the After Party concert with Passafire, and if you have not purchased tickets yet, don’t wait! Tickets available at: www.CoastalWilds.org/brap
 

QUESTIONS/ANSWERS

Q: Can I arrive later than noon?

A: Yes! Guests will be able to Check-in and visit the Kangaroos until 2:15 pm. If you arrive later than that, you will still be able to sample beer and walk around, but not access our encounters.

 

Q: Can I go into the Kangaroo Walkabout or Sloth Encounter multiple times?

A: No. Once you have a wristband and sample cup you will not be able to have encounters with the animal ambassadors.

 

Q: Will I see animals while sampling beer?

A: Yes! Many of our animals will be visible. Our education staff will also be walking the park with special animal ambassadors. Please be respectful to our animal ambassadors during this time!

 

Q: Can I bring my infant/toddler/child with me?

A: No. This is a 21+ event ONLY.

Q: Can I bring my dog/cat/trash panda/other obscure pet?

A: No. Outside animals, including dogs and service animals, are not allowed to attend due to the fact that we have live animals, and cannot predict how they and your pet will interact. This is for everyone's safety.

Q: Can I go to my car after I check in?

A: No. There is no re-entry to the park. VIPs may leave the park and re-enter between Brews & Roos and the After Party.

Q: Can I bring in my own beverages?

A: No. Outside beverages are prohibited.
